A Retro card

Hi everyone, my card today uses another gorgeous image from Mo Manning and I'm entering it for this week's DP2 challenge which is 'Going Retro'. Hopefully this sweet  little boy and his best friend will fit the bill.

Card Details:
* Image - Mo Manning's 'Out There' from DP2
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - My Mind's Eye 'Wild Asparagus'
* Punch - MS Garden Trellis
* Everything else from my stash

I've just noticed that Bah Humbug is back today, so hopefully I'll manange to get a card done for that. The plan is to join in with this, and some of the other christmas challenges, each week this year.....you know what they say about the best laid plans lol!!

Lovely choice for your retro card, Chrissy! It harks back to the early 1900's. I think of that movie "The lost prince" about the royal family at the turn of the century. The boys always wore these sailor outfits. Too cute!
Thanks so much for joining us at MO's this week!

Hi Chrissie...oh my goodness....this is absolutely darling!! It really is retro...reminds me of the Bobsey Twins!! I think those books might have been written in the 1940s! (Not sure tho...before my time...LOL!) This is really too, toooooo adorable! I love your soft colors...and the DPs and layout showcase this sweet little guy beautifully! Thanks so much for joining in this week's "retro" challenge at Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog!! Pat Frank
