Tag card

As I seem to be on a roll for the first time this week, I thought I'd enter the other 2 challenges that I liked the look of.
The first one was Cute card Thursday's challenge of "People" and the other challenge was Thank God It's Friday's challenge of "Tags"
The card I chose to make covered both of these. Cuddly Buddly's "Emmy with basket" was stamped and watercoloured then mounted onto K & Co paper and some plain paper which formed the tag part of the card. The card itself just had some K & Co paper, a sticky green ribbon and a little cut out flower held in place with a brad.
Another easy card as I've felt a bit "under the weather" this week and haven't had much inspiration.

Blue and Yellow Tilda ATC

This is my entry for Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week.
The theme was "Blue and Yellow" with inspiration taken from the Swedish flag. My Tilda ATC is very simply watercoloured and mounted onto some "peppy papers" backing paper, the only other additions are a little sticky ribbon, some tiny blue gems and a sparkly blue flower, all from my stash. A nice, easy challenge today.

Tilda in Chocolate

For the second card I have used the same Tilda stamp, this time in a chocolate and green colourway. Again this card is being used for more than one challenge, this time it is for the Arty Girlz challenge of "chocolate" which could be either the colour or the food, and the Challenge Ismaki sketch number 12 (this is the first time I have entered this challenge).
The card is laid out the same as the sketch diagram and I have used an assortment of cardstock and papers from my stash, all in shades of chocolate brown. The finishing touches are 2 silk flowers topped with gems and a little cuddly buddly stamped greeting.

4 in 1 Challenge

My new Tilda stamp arrived today, just in time as I had quite a few challenges to catch up with after the Bank Holiday weekend. Luckily she will be perfect for all the challenges I need to do and the first card I made with her actually fits the criteria for 4 challenges!
The first one is the Funky Fairy Challenge of "Bling", the second is My Time To Craft challenge of "Sparkle", both of these challenges want your project to have some glitz and sparkle. The third challenge is Papertake Weekly "Sketch" where your card should follow the layout of the sketch they have posted and the final challenge for this card is Wednesday Stamper entitled "Purple" and this requires the use of the colour purple on your card.
The card itself uses Cuddly Buddly's "Peppy papers" together with various shades of purple and lilac cardstock from my stash, some sparkly stickers and a paper flower topped off with a lilac gemstone. The Tilda stamp is from Magnolia (did I need to tell you that?) and is called "Tilda in heart dress"

Tilda Template challenge

I've been wanting to enter the Tilda & Co challenge for a while, but I didn't have a Magnolia stamp until yesterday when my Tilda arrived. This week's theme is to make a card using their template, so that's exactly what I've done!
I've decided this time to use darker colours for my card, the backing paper is by K & Co and Tilda has been stamped and coloured with a mixture of Caran D'Ache pencils and Adirondack ink pads in dark reds and blues. Light blue cardstock from my stash has been used as a frame and decorated with red kisses (to hopefully give the impression of little stitches) and some burgundy daisy ribbon. Finishing touches are two tiny vellum daisies with little red gems popped on and a large, natural coloured daisy with a little red heart shaped button attached with a dark blue brad.

2 in 1 Tilda

Easter Sunday today and I thought that meant that Spring was around the corner, but today it's not only still freezing it's snowing as well. It actually feels more like Christmas than Easter. I'm just glad I don't have to go out today and can play with my new Tilda stamp instead. I know I'm going to become seriously addicted to these stamps as they are so versatile. I just had to use Baking Tilda for my next card and she has fitted in really well for two challenges.
The first is TGIF challenge of "Ribbons" and for this you need to use at least 1 stamp and 1 ribbon on your card. The second challenge is from Scrummy Stash Cafe and is entitled "Get the Edge" and for that you need to use decorative edges on your entry.
Well, I think my sweet little Tilda meets both criteria.
She has been stamped and water coloured with Caran D'Ache pencils and some Stickles popped on to her wings. She's then been mounted on an oval of white linen cardstock from my stash and then onto a pretty lilac K & Co paper, I've cut out a little daisy border and popped it down the side of the card and then finished off with some lilac satin ribbon and a bow wrapped around a strip of white card.

Homegrown

Well, it's Easter Saturday and it's freezing! it certainly doesn't feel very springlike today, so I'm planning on catching up with some card challenges. Oh and the best news today is that my "Baking Tilda" stamp arrived from Joanna Sheen, so I'm looking forward to having fun with her later. My card today is for the Caardvark challenge of "Homegrown", the plan was to make a card showing fruit or vegetables.
I used an image of a sketched bowl of fruit and a few flowers, coloured with my Caran D'Ache watercolours and mounted onto some purpley pearlescent card. I added some purple paper from my stash, a strip of L'ouvre, a few purple gems and a little strip of offcut card that I again watercoloured to match the picture.
Nice, easy card (you may have noticed I don't do difficult) and I love colouring so very enjoyable too.

Bookmarks

Rainbow Lady's challenge this week was to make a bookmark, which was a nice change from making cards.
You could use whatever you wanted to make the bookmark, so I decided to use a lovely image of "Little Women" that I've had for ages and never got round to using before. I also used some pretty bronze coloured cardstock from my stash, some gold corner and border peel offs, a little ribbon and some distressed alphabets.
It was a very simple project, but once it was finished I liked the vintage feel of it so much that it was my own name I used, so now I just have to keep it myself!

All Creatures Great and Small

Today's card is for Cute Challenge's "All Creatures Great and Small" You could use any animal (or dinosaur, dragon etc.) for this challenge. I decided to use my cute "somebunny" images. These were a download from PC Crafter, mounted onto my "peppy papers" again and finished off with some little flowers (which were part of a gift from Andrea for being one of the first 3 replies at her blog) topped off with some tiny clear gems.
