Sketch N Stash DT Card #104

Hi everyone Sketch N Stash has a new challenge, where did the last fortnight go?
I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and are not planning on getting too drunk tonight?
This time our sketch was designed by the lovely Janet. I loved it, as it was another non fussy one with plenty of space to show off those lovely papers we all have tucked away.

Another male card, must mean it's another Mo image from me then!
I absolutely adore this one, just love that happy expression and he's suitable for any adult male really, so a very versatile image too.
I have to confess to using these papers regularly for men's cards, they just seem perfect for them.

Card Details:
* Image - Digital Pencil Too 'King for the Day'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers and pencils
* Papers - Papermania 'For Him'
* Dies - Die-namics 'Photo Corners'
* Everything else from my stash

We're being sponsored for the final time this year by My Mum's Craft Shop who are generously offering another £10 voucher to our winner.
Please pop over to the blog and check out the other DT cards, our last challenge winner and our Top 3 cards.

On a sadder note (for me anyway) this will be my final DT card for Sketch N Stash as I've decided to leave.
As some of you may know, I was one of the founder members, so you can imagine what a hard decision it was to make, especially as they are such a lovely crowd. I shall miss them all loads.
I've been finding it increasingly difficult to craft and blog regularly as real life keeps getting in the way, so I thought I'd go back to just doing what I want, when I want and hope that gets my Mojo back a bit. The New Year seemed the perfect time to make the change.
I'd like to wish the remaining SNS team all the best and I know our wonderful challenge blog will continue to go from strength to strength.

I would also like to wish all my followers a very Happy New Year and I look forward to catching up with you all again in 2013.

Why not pop over to check whether you were our last lucky winner or one of our Top 3, take a look at the DT cards, and then join in the fun with us? We'd love to see you.

Yesterday was my 40th wedding anniversary and I can't believe it, I don't know where all those years have gone, but it's very scary.
December is always a busy time in our house. Apart from our wedding anniversary on the 16th, it's my lovely hubby's birthday on 23rd (lucky I love him!) and then, of course, the normal Christmas celebrations.
This year on top of all that I have decided to throw a 'Strictly Come Dancing Final' party on the 22nd. A few of our close friends in the village are coming over and we're getting all glammed up for the occasion, all I can say is it seemed like a good idea at the time!

A Few Light-Hearted Cards

Hi again everyone, I'm back to post a few more birthday cards that I've made lately, these ones are a little more light-hearted, I hope you like them.

 This card used a Whipper Snapper stamp and the rest of the card was designed in Greetings Card De-Luxe and finished off with ribbon and gems from my stash.

 I used a Cuddly Buddly image from their 'Local Lads' digi kit for this card together with peel offs, punches and dies.

This image was part of the 'Born To Be Wild' kit from PC Crafter (sadly no longer trading) The card was finished off with My Minds Eye papers and embellishments from my stash.

Another fabulous Just Inklined image for this card, this time it's 'Albert'. It was simply finished with K & Co papers and buttons from my stash.

And finally, a googled image of a speeding motability scooter for a neighbour of ours. Finished with papers and embellies from my stash.

This more or less brings me up to date with what I've been making lately, so the future posts should be back to only one card at a time, what a relief for you all! lol

A Few Vintage Style Cards

Hi everyone,
I'm so sorry that I haven't been a very good blogger lately, but I'm afraid real life keeps getting in the way.
I thought I'd show you a few of my recent cards, just to prove that I have been crafting even if I haven't managed to blog the evidence lol!
These are some 'vintage style' cards that I made for some of my friends' birthdays, I hope you like them.

This was made using Joanna Sheen's 'Fashion Boutique' CD. I love the 'Chanel' style of this image.  The mount was made in Greetings Card De Luxe, the border is using the matching paper from the CD and I finished off with some silver foiled card, peel offs and paper lace.

I used  'Abigail' from Just Inklined for this image as I fell in love with her gorgeous hat.
The lace papers are from Joanna Sheen's paper pad and the dies are Nestability 'Picot Edge Circle'  the other finishing touches are peel offs, lace and ribbon from my stash.

This Anniversary card was made using a favourite Inkadinkadoo stamp, EK Success 'Photo Corners' punch and a mixture of papers and embellishments from my stash.

And finally, this card uses another image from Joanna Sheen's 'Fashion Boutique' CD, Nellie Snellen dies and a mixture of papers and embellishments from my stash.

I hope I haven't bored you too much with such a long post, I was definitely making up for lost time wasn't I? lol

Sketch N Stash DT Card #102

Hi everyone, time for another challenge at Sketch N Stash and our wonderful sketch this fortnight has been designed by Sue.
Those of you who know me well, will guess that I may have struggled a bit with this (as I can't do anything even slightly complicated!) but actually it all went very smoothly. If I can do it, then trust me, anyone can, so it's not as complicated as it first looks.
I used another of Mo's fabulous images again (am I getting too predictable? ha ha)

Card Details:
* Image - Digital Pencil Too ' Between'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - K & Co and Joanna Sheen
* Peel Offs - Dawn Bibby
* Everything else from my stash

Our sponsor this fortnight is Di's Digi Downloads and they are offering our winner 5 digis of their choice.

Do pop over to the challenge blog to see what my teamies have created this time and check out our Top 3 and lucky winner from the last challenge.
