Sketch N Stash #145
Morning all, I'm here to share my card for the latest Sketch N Stash challenge. We are being sponsored by Delicious Doodles who are offering 4 images of the winner's choice as their prize. I have used their image called Tropical Masquerade for my card.
This sketch is a great one whether you want to dress it up or keep it simple. As you can see, I've ditched the CAS this time and gone for a 'sunglasses required' look instead ha ha! I tried to keep the background as monochrome as I could to counter balance it.
This was WAY outside my comfort zone as I usually tend to stick to pastel and muted shades and leave the vibrant colours alone, but hey, it's supposed to be good to challenge yourself now and then isn't it?
It was my turn to select the Top 3 this time and you certainly gave me some difficulties. The entries were gorgeous and I had a hard job choosing my final 3.
We'd love it if you could join in with our challenge and if you're in need of some inspiration, why not take a look at what the other DT girls have come up with.

Sketch N Stash #144
Morning all, gosh where is the year going? Have you noticed that the older you get the faster the time flies by? I can't believe we're in August already.
Anyway, enough of my waffling it's time for another Sketch N Stash challenge where our regular sponsor A Day For Daisies is with us again and, as usual, they are offering our lucky winner a voucher for use in their store.
I do love the delicate look of these images, feminine with a touch of vintage, my favourite style. I have to admit I had a hard job choosing my image as I wanted ALL of the 'Fashion' digis but I ended up selecting 'Fashion Shopping' I hope you like it as much as I do.
Again, I have raided my much underused stash for my papers, I think they may have been in a Papermania pad (but I could be wrong) Anyway, I wanted this card to be a very neutral colour palette in conjunction with black.
As you can see I'm still in a CAS mood but I think that the simpler cards have more impact (well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol!)
Please take a look at what the other girls have come up with, they are SO clever! We'd love it if you could manage to join in with us for our challenge.
I hope you enjoyed having a month for the last challenge but we're back to just two weeks again now.
