Hi everyone, it's time for challenge 32 over at Sketch & Stash.
To those of you who entered challenge 31, let me start by saying how difficult you made my task of choosing a guest DT. Your entries were absolutely gorgeous and I just loved that you all managed to create your own take on my sketch.
My final choice will be posted on the challenge blog today, together with the winner of the $10 gift certificate from Digital Delights, so don't forget to pop over and check.....it could be YOU!
This week we're back to another gorgeous sketch from Becky and the challenge is being sponsored by the wonderful Simon Says Stamp so why not try to join in, there are 2 whole weeks until the closing date.
I hope you like my card and if you are in need of any inspiration, please pop over and check out the other DT cards, because they're all fabulous, as usual.
Card Details:
* Image - Mo's Digital Pencil Too - 'Mummu'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - Laura Ashley - 'Traditional'
* Punch - Martha Stewart 'Valentine Lace' & EK Success 'Retro Flower'
* Sentiment tag - Crafty Ann's - 'Ticket' (handwritten by me)
* Everything else from my stash
The image I chose this week was another recently purchased from Mo. I just LOVE Mummu, she has such style! I must tell you that all Mo's images are a dream to colour and this one was certainly no exception.
I made the flowers from the 'Retro' punches again and they have been sprayed with Glimmer Mist, sprinkled with Glamour Dust and I added some Stickles to the edges for extra sparkle. I even remembered to use some 'Vintage Photo' Distress Inks to distress the edges of the image and the flowers!
Sadly, my neck started playing up again yesterday, so I'm in absolute agony again and can barely move my head at all (without lots of yelping!).
I had lots of 'little challenges' set for myself this week, now I guess I'll just have to see how things go!

Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog DT Card #11
Hi everyone, it's time for Crafty Ann's challenge again (how fast did that fortnight go?) and the theme this time is:
A card, gift or memento for a someone special to you.
A short while ago, I asked Ann if she could make a digi image of a nice, comfy armchair, to be used for my sitting cuties. Well, she came up with this fabulous creation, which was exactly what I'd had in mind. Unfortunately, I was too late to use it for my last DT card, (although I notice that certain other DT members managed it! LOL!) so I just had to use it this time. From what I gather, a lot of you are finding it pretty irresistible too!
(I've requested another couple of items to go with the cute images too, so watch this space!)
Card Details:
* Image - Crafty Ann's 'Easy Chair' & Charmed Crafts & Cards 'Elegant Annie'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - Crafty Ann's 'Wood Grain' & Laura Ashley 'Contemporary'
* Punch - Martha Stewart 'Double Scallop'
* Mat - Nellie Snellen Oval frames
* Pearl Pin - Simon Says Stamp (part of my recent challenge card win)
* Sentiment - Computer generated
* Everything else from my stash
In case you wondered, I made the pattern on the chair by using a Glitz rubber stamp wheel 'Stitches' (another part of my challenge win from Simon Says Stamp) I originally thought I could use it for the edges of some of my cards (so it looked like stitching) but trust me, these are harder to use than they look, so I wouldn't hold your breath on seeing it used until I've had lots more practice! LOL!

Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #23
Hi everyone, hope you are all well? My neck and back are both feeling much better, so hopefully I'll now get the chance to spend more time crafting and blogging.
Now, as you all know I'm a Mo-aholic, but what with one thing and another, I don't seem to have entered many of her challenges lately.
I just about managed a card for the monthly Dream Team sketch challenge, but didn't think I'd get the DP2 challenge card made in time. Luckily, I finished it today, so quickly got DH to take a photo (bless him!) and I should just make it, as the new challenge is due on Thursday.
Card Details:
* Image - Mo's Digital Pencil Too - 'Alice in Pencil' & 'Late'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - Jak Heath's Freebie Dots collection - 'Creme Anglaise' & 'Iced Blue'
* Punches - MS around the page 'Fanned Shell' & 'Garden Trellis' deep edge
& EK Success 'Retro Flower' (large and medium)
* Sentiment - Crafty Ann's Digi Shop - 'Tickets'
* Everything else from my stash
This week's challenge wanted us to use at least 3 punches on our project.
Whew! just about managed it, but it's harder than it sounds! Of course, I could have made life easier if I'd used a Nestability as a mat, but because I decided to use both of these 'Wonderland' images I had nothing big enough! So, I had to cut both images out and mount them on some pearlised backing paper. I also found some 'sky' paper in my stash (don't ask, I have no idea!!) so popped this behind the little characters. Obviously, you can't see either of these things in the photo....why do I bother? LOL!
I'm hoping to whizz around and pay you all a visit in the next day or two, I'm so sorry I've neglected some of you for so long.
I also have DT Challenge Blog comments to make and a guest DT to choose, all of which should keep me busy and out of mischief for a while.

Welcome, little bundle of joy
Hi everyone, at last I've made something to show you.
My niece, Jane, is expecting a baby in just over a month's time and, as we already know that it will be a boy, I wanted to get a card made.
She already has 2 little girls by her previous marriage, but this baby will be the first boy in the family for about 18 years and he is to be named William, after his grandfather (my brother in law) who sadly passed away last year.
I can't remember the last time I had a 'new baby' card to make for our family, suffice to say it was a long, long time ago, so I thoroughly enjoyed making this one for sweet William.
The adorable image was kindly sent to me by a crafting friend, Cathy, after I had fallen in love with it on one of her cards, so I have no idea where it originally came from I'm afraid.
Card Details:
* Papers - Raspberry Road Designs 'My Baby Love - Boy'
* Sentiment tag - K & Co 'vellum sentiments'
* Nestabilities - Scalloped Ovals
* Everything else from my stash
One of the things I have been wanting to do for some time, is to make some slightly different shaped cards. This one is a poor copy of a style frequently used by another of my crafting friends, Irene, on her stunning cards and was made by cutting an A4 sheet width ways and then joining it at the side to make a 'landscape' A5 card.
Having searched some of the card challenges, I think I can enter this card for the following ones:
SophistiCat #26 - 'New Beginnings'
Crafty Creations #59 - 'Spots & Dots'
Creative Card Crew #46 - 'Going Dotty'
Ooh La La #49 - 'Anything Goes'
I apologise for not blog hopping for a little while, but I'm hoping to catch up with you all in the next couple of days. I've been having a lot of neck pain recently, so have been limiting my time on the PC (you already knew I was a pain in the neck didn't you? LOL!) add to this that I pulled my back a couple of days ago and you have some idea of the sort of mess I'm in at the moment.
Thank you for continuing to leave comments for me, I find them so encouraging (and I need lots of that at the moment!)

Mo's Sketch Challenge - April
Hi everyone, I was lucky enough to be one of the winners in Mo's recent Bloghop and received a $10 coupon to spend in her shop.
As most of you probably already know, I adore ALL of Mo's images and due to this I have an ever growing 'wishlist' on my desk at all times, so it was simply a case of crossing a few off and placing an order....well, actually, it wasn't! Obviously, I couldn't just order my coupon value when there were so many other lovelies screaming 'buy me, buy me!' could !?
Suffice to say, you may be seeing a few (??!!!) new images in the not too distant future, starting with this one.
I couldn't wait to start colouring my new babies, so I thought I'd enter this month's challenge at Mo's Dream Team.
Card Details:
* Image - Mo's Digital Pencil 'Fairy3'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - Papermania Inspirations 'Earth Tones'
* Punch - MS 'Double Scallop'
* Sentiment - PC generated
* Everything else from my stash
I think this gorgeous fairy may have taken that sentiment a little too literally, but I LOVE this more mature and chubby version of a fairy, just perfect for making cards for all us mature and chubby ladies.

Sketch & Stash DT card #31
Hi everyone, here we go with another Sketch & Stash challenge and we're up to #31, how amazing is that?
Even more amazing is that this is my sketch......yes, my very own little work of art!
I do hope you like the sketch and feel you'd like to join in, as it's also my week to choose the next Guest DT, so I'll be visiting every one of you this time to make my choice. Just how much more exciting can this week get for me? LOL!
We're being sponsored by Digital Delights again this time and I've used one of my absolute favourite DD images for my card. This little mouse always reminds me of Jerry from the Tom & Jerry cartoons, so cute!
Card Details:
* Image - Digital Delights 'Cappuccino Pippin'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - K & Co
* Oval & Sentiment mats - Nellie Snellen frames
* Punch - MS 'Double Scallop'
* Everything else from my stash
I used two new items of stash this time, the Digital Delights image and the MS punch.
Don't forget to pop over to the challenge blog and see the fabulous creations from the other DT members and please try to join us, you can use whatever you wish for the challenge and there's 2 weeks until the challenge ends.
We had so many wonderful entries for the last challenge, we loved seeing them.
I can remember what a difficult task it was the last time I had to choose our guest DT, so I'm expecting a busy couple of weeks ahead.

I just loved seeing all of your entries for Crafty Ann's last challenge, you certainly tried out lots of new ideas, and this time we have a colour challenge for you.
With all the cold, dark days we've had lately it seems like it's been winter forever, but our challenge is asking you to use some lovely, springlike colours, so why not give it a try?
Don't forget you can use whatever you like, you have a whole 2 weeks to get something done and you can enter more than once if you find the colour palette really inspiring.
Card Details:
* Image - Crafty Ann's 'Rosebud & Posy' sheet
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - Crafty Ann's 'Polished Brights' in Lemon & Lilac
* Sentiment tag punch - Nellie Snellen 'Rectangles'
* Sentiment - PC generated

Happy Ever After!
Hi everyone, I made this card today for my son and daughter-in-law's 5th wedding anniversary next month, I hope they like it.
I can't really believe that it's been that long since their 'big day'......until I look at the wedding photos that is. I certainly look a lot younger in those, all I can say is......it's obviously been a stressful 5 years for me LOL!
I used 'Vintage Photo' distress ink around the edges of the nestie and then popped some Cosmic Shimmer 'Gold Twinkles' on top (I love the smell of this even more than the smell of my Promarkers, oh dear!)
I made the flowers myself using this fabulous tutorial, then doused them liberally with glimmer mist and glamour dust. They look really pretty in real life, unfortunately, my scanner didn't want to show you.
This card seems to fit the following 3 challenges:
Ooh-la-la Creations #49 - 'Anything Goes'
Stampin' for the Weekend - 'Monochromatic'
Crafty Calendar Challenge #6 - 'Flower Power'
Card Details:
* Image - Charmed Cards & Crafts 'Mikey & Madison'
* Colouring medium - Promarkers
* Papers - Hot Off The Press and stash
* Punch - MS 'Valentine Lace'
* Everything else from my stash
I'm sorry I haven't been to visit you for a while, but I've been in a bit of a dark place lately, mainly because reality has now set in about losing my Mum and I miss her so much.
In view of this I'm going to have a bit of a break for a while. I'll still be joining in with my fortnightly DT challenges for both Sketch & Stash and Crafty Ann's, but other than that my posts may not be as regular as normal.
For some time now I've had a 'to do' list full of lots of different crafting techniques and ideas that I want to try, unfortunately, I never seem to find time to do them.
The theory is that I'll just 'play' and if I end up with something that I like, I'll see if it fits any challenges and if it does, great (if not, I'll probably post it anyway!)
Thanks to all my sweet friends who have continued to visit me and leave such lovely comments, they have meant so much to me. I'll be coming to visit you all again very soon.
