Today's little set is a series of 1930 style images of children around water. All the images come from Joanna Sheen's Cardmaker's Year CD, there are quite a lot of this style of image on the CD and personally I just love them, as I think they give a real "feel" of the period. All of them have been simply mounted onto cardstock and are very plain as I didn't want to detract from the lovely images themselves.
The first card depicts a little boy and his dog in a sandcastle and I've added a little charm of an anchor to echo the seaside theme.
The second card is a toddler watching some ducks on the pond. This little boy has got to be my all time favourite, what a cherub!
The final card is a group of children at the lake about to launch their yacht and again I've added a little charm, this time to echo the yacht itself. Unfortunately my scanner didn't like this card and kept chopping the top off, suffice to say that the blue band is really across the centre of the card.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my cards, I hope you liked them and while you're here why not leave me a comment too. I love to know who's been visiting me.

Three delightful cards Chrissie - I wonder if it really was a gentler time back then or we would just like to think so? I think it was certainly a more innocent time for children.

Excellent cards. The one of the child being held back from the water reminds me of my brother!!!

Just to say that I'm loving all the latest sets you have made for the shop. They are certainly reminiscent of gentler times aren't they?

Beautiful cards, the images are so pretty
What lovely images Chrissie. I haven't seen this CD at all.
I see your little lady is animated. I'm sure she wasn't originally. It's like having someone there to say Hello to you.

They are just gorgeous Chrissie and as you said they don't need anything else as it would detract from the beautiful images. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us.

Chrissie you are producing some stunning cards lately. How do you manage to get them so perfect? I wish I could do the same with mine. These are gorgeous and would really stand out in a shop setting. I love the little nautical embellishments too!
