Stamp with Sarah Kay - Challenge 9

A second card again tonight, this is becoming a habit! Actually it's because if I don't post 2 cards a day every now and then, I'll never catch up with all the challenges I'm entering at the moment. I'm sure the novelty of having time to enter challenges will wear off soon.
This card is for Wednesday's Stamp with Sarah Kay challenge which was another sketch.
The sweet little image was coloured with pro-markers, the backing paper is K & Co, the Cuttlebug embossing is Swiss Dots with one of their new borders forming a lacey edge to the card and the sentiment is part of a download kit from PC Crafter.
As you can see my animal colouring has not improved since my "lump of toffee puppy", the only difference is this time it's an orange martian posing as a kitten (it was meant to be a tabby!)
Apart from the martian, I hope you like the card and thanks so much for visiting.

Beautiful romantic card!! Love the sweet image, that is beautiful coloured!! For the animals maybe a tip.... at first I had trouble to, because it couldn't be colors I had used for the image, I thought, now I use colors I have used for the hair of the girl, with one new that goes with it, and that works for me... Thanks for joinig in!! Love from Holland,

It's absolutely gorgeous Chrissie - the clours are divine and it's my favourite SK image (I'll wear my stamp out I use it so much lol). I too won't tire from looking at your cards or your blog, so there!! LOL.

Now as to the scalloped border you were asking about, it's done with a Martha Stewart punch - Doiley Punch. She has a website in the US www.marthastewart.com - I ordered it form her on the Saturday and it arrived on the Tuesday!!! Fantastic service and I will def buy from her again. Just one thing, make sure she puts the carriage charge on the bill else customs on this end will sting you - I got stung to the tune of £16 - the robbing wotsits!!!
